The San Diego Studio Archive is a documentary project created by artist Karah Lain.
By documenting studio visits with artists in the community, the archive offers an opportunity to learn from the everyday working lives of contemporary artists in San Diego—focusing on process over product—as a means to harness collective wisdom in order to better understand what it means to be a working artist here and now.
